| Young Harry Potter has to lead a hard life: His parents have died in a car crash when he was still a baby, and he is being brought up by his Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia. For some reason unbeknownst to the bespectacled ten-year-old, the Dursleys let him live in the small chamber under the stairs, and treat him more like vermin than like a family member. His fat cousin Dudley, the Dursley's real son, keeps bothering Harry all the time. On his eleventh birthday, Harry Potter finally receives a mysterious letter from a certain Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, telling him that he is chosen as one of the future students of that supposedly renowned school. Hagrid, the gigantic man who brought the letter, finally introduces Harry into the real circumstances of his life: His parents were a wizard and a witch, they were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort protecting him. Harry still has a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead from that event. Since he survived the attack as a baby, and also somehow deprived Voldemort from his powers, he has been famous in the wizarding world ever since. The Dursleys, strong disbelievers in that magical crap, never told Harry anything about his true self. So, Harry is strongly surprised, yet absolutely happy to start his training. At Hogwarts, Harry meets his teachers, and becomes friends with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The three of them accidentally find out that the potions master, Severus Snape, seems to plot on stealing something that is guarded by a three-headed dog. Since nobody would believe some first years to have found out such important things that even would incriminate a Hogwarts teacher, they take it on themselves to find out what Snape is up to. Their quest for the truth leads across many obstacles, from keeping up the everyday school life, a bewitched Quidditch match (Quidditch is a popular wizard sport), Fluffy, the three-headed monster dog and quite some tasks one has to overcome to get to the guarded object. |

| 1. On the Opening screen on Disc two, select Diagon Alley (Hedwig) 2. Put the selector thingy on Gringotts, then press down selecting the key, click to get to the gringotts area then select the Galleon, Sickle, and Knut and click 3. Now you should be back at the main page for diagon alley, go to ollivander's and have fun selecting your wand (not sure if its the same for every DVD) 4. Go back to the main screen and select the wand and click, getting to the classrooms 5. Select Transfiguration (the cat), then hit down to select the owls on the torch, then hit up to select the H on a Shield. Click 6. At Fluffy, select the Flute and click 7. At the Keys, select the Silver one in the middle with a bent wing (its the only one that is completely over the door in the background) 8. At the Bottles (which was not in the Movie) select the round one with the yellow liquid 9. Select the Red stone in the mirror to get to the cut scenes(only seven, but i bet theres more) Scene 1 - Smeltings uniform Scene 2 - Letters in Eggs Scene 3 - Hagrid and Harry on the Underground Scene 4 - Harry and Ron befriend Hermione Scene 5 - More Christmas Scene 6 - Dumbledore's Card and Neville's legbinding Scene 7 - Extended Potions ClassOn Disc 2 in the main menu go to Diagon Alley (The Owl) To get In Diagon Alley you need to pass the puzzle. Go left 1, up 2 and hit enter Up 1, hit enter Up 1, hit enter Right 1, down 2, hit enter Down 1, hit enter (Don't worry if you do it wrong, it will let you in after the third try) Click on the Gringotts Bank sign (there are two places to click, I'll leave that up to you) Once in the bank, go down to select the box by the pile of papers and hit enter. You will be taken to a screen where you can try 4 different flavors of Every Flavor Beans.This the directions to 2 hidden Harry Potter screensavers and a desktop application of the Remembrall from the movie. I know it works on the DVD-ROM but am uncertain about a CD-ROM. 1. Place Harry Potter Special Edition Disc 2 in your DVD-ROM drive (for example, drive E:) 2. Choose My Computer on your computer's desktop 3. Right click on the drive that says "HARRY_POTTER_SORCERERS_STONE" and choose "Open" or "Explore" 4. Double click on the "Common" folder 5. Double click on the "win" folder 6. Double click on "harrypotter" folder 7a. Choose the "remembrall" folder and then install to put the Remembrall application on your computer's desktop. 7b. Choose the "screensaver" folder and then double click on either or both of the two files. HP_Owl is a screensaver of Mail time at Hogwart's. HPSNITCH is the golden snitch chasing all over your screen on the Qttch. field.When you get to the dining hall proceed until you get to the Teacher's Table. You will be presented with the option of Left, Up or Right, Choose DOWN instead. You will see a machine "sparkle" to the right of the table. Press enter to see what it is.Put in the Special Features DVD. (2nd Disk). Take the Hogwarts Tour. Wait until you have the option of moving around. Stay at the first stop. Look towards the fireplace and press DOWN. You may not be looking at the right place, so turn right or left untilyou are at the right spot. If you are at the right spot, when you press down a painting will be highlighted with the magic sparkle. Click on it and it will go up to it and tell about Quidditch.Click on the hogwarts grounds or the cat. Click on fluffy(the giant dog) Congrats you are now automaticly in hagrids hut. Now your in his hut if you go to his fireplace and click on the egg congrats a speical scene about dragons will apear. |
